Spiegel, leicht bauchige Wandung, eingezogener Lippenrand. Auf der Auáenwandung gemuldet die 8 Trigramme. Dicke, cremige Glasur mit Craquel‚ auf r”tlichem Scherben, unglasierter Fuá. Auf einen ebenfalls dreifáigen Ringstand aus dunklem Hartholz gestellt. H”lzerner, gedrechselter, gew”lbter, durchbrochen gearbeiteter Deckel mit Schwertknauf-Ornament. Stand und Deckel wurden wohl erst im 19./20. Jh. hinzugefgt. Im Spiegel und auf der Unterseite sind etwas eigenartige Auffllungen, eine Restaurierung? Es handelt sich wohl nicht um Risse im Scherben, da sie sich auf der Wandung nicht fortsetzen. Gesamth”he 27 cm/? 28 cm
Longquan celadon tripod incense burner, China, Ming-time or later. Thick, creamy glaze
with craquelure on a reddish body, unglazed foot. On a tripod-like ring stand made of dark hardwood. Domed, openwork wooden lid with sword knob ornament. Stand and lid were presumably added in the 19/20 th cent. Partly with fillings (a restorations?). Total height 27/d. 28 cm
