Er gewinnt 1880 den Poletti Preis und setzt sein in Modena begonnenes Studium in Rom und Florenz fort. Neben der Malerei fotografierte er Knstler und verwendete seine in einfachen Trachten gekleideten Modelle auch fr seine Gem„lde. Entsprechend komponierte er glckliche und idyllische Familienszenen, wie in dem vorliegendenen Gem„lde

x 98 cm, ger. 85 x 114, Humourous interiors scene with a smoking fisherman and a laughing young woman, Zamphigi was very successful with his genre scenes. He wins the Poletti Prize in 1880 and continues his studies in Modena in Rome and Florence. In addition to painting, the artist photographed and used his dressed in simple costumes models also for his paintings. Accordingly, he composed happy and idyllic family scenes, as in the present painting.
