Neck Badge, 72x 32 mm., oval medallion of rose GOLD, with overlying yellow gold, Hungarian double cross rising from three mounts and a crown above; white enameled border and a green enameled laurel wreath around the reverse, with inscription "SIGNUM LAUDIS 1922", rectangular, tapering upper loop and Hungarian royal crown with suspended, side ornaments, suspension ring with beaded motive and long, original, neck ribbon with hook and eyelet, in the original, red morocco case of issue with gold embossed Hungarian crown and rocailles on the lid, fitted, velvet covered inner compartment.A very rare piece of the scarcely awarded, Hungarian highest military award, in mint condition.
